There are two levels of membership in MHSLA, 'Institutional' and 'Personal'. The MHSLA Brochure has details about the benefits specific to each level.

Personal membership is open to anyone interested in health sciences libraries, or in any aspect of health information management. Membership includes, but is not limited to, medical librarians in academic and hospital settings, informationists, library staff of all levels, library science students, and health information product sales representatives, to name just a few. The authorized representative of an institutional member must be designated in writing by the institution at the time of payment, but may be transferred during the year upon written notification.
