The MHSLA Planning Committee is pleased to announce the open registration for our 1/2 day program on Sunday, May 18, Revving Up Research: Navigating the AI-Fueled Future of Scholarship! The Pre-Conference takes place ahead of the MiALA Annual Conference Driving Excellence: Navigating the Challenges & Opportunities on May 19 and 20, 2025!
The Pre-Conference, co-sponsored by MHSLA and the MiALA Health Sciences Interest Group, will be held on Sunday, May 18, from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University of Michigan—Flint Conference Center, 303 E. Kearsley Street, Flint, MI 48502.
Parking: Free parking for the conference is available in the University Pavilion Parking Ramp, which is just a block away from both the hotel and the conference center. The Hilton does have valet parking for $20. There is no charge for parking at the Flint Institute of Arts either.

2:35 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guest Speaker Presentation “Empowering Academic Librarians Through the Structured AI Research Framework (SARF)” with Professor Phillip Olla from the University of Detroit Mercy College of Health Professions. CE will be provided.
